Quantum Cascade Lasers are typically very expensive. We recommend that you use a test load for initial setup of the QCL-LAB and QCL-OEM families of low noise Quantum Cascade Laser drivers. The QCLTL-LO can be used with the QCL500 LAB, QCL500 OEM, QCL500 OEM(+), QCL1000 LAB, QCL1000 OEM, or QCL1000 OEM(+) drivers. A 10 Ω, 50 W resistor is mounted to a heatsink and coupled to a BNC connector. A BNC T-connector is also included. The test load can be connected to the QCL driver using the BNC to SMA cable 55-110014, sold separately.
