  • The Wavelength Electronics WLD3343 datasheet specifies the constant current control short term stability (1 hour) and long term stability (24 hours) each at 25°C. I would like to know the dependence of the laser/light regarding the temperature. What happens, when we use the WLD3343 at -50°C or +110°C for example, because the device is specified for -65°C to 150°C.

ANSWER

The storage temperature is -65 to +150°C and the operating temperature is rated at -40 to +85°C.

The stability will change 75 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range. The laser output will change proportionately.
